How do you Multi-task?

My work entails me to become a multi-tasker and be able to fulfill the tasks in a day to day basis. It is very challenging but I have been trained on my previous job to become one.

To become a multi-tasker requires an organized work system and a lot of presence of mind. To know the priority tasks over the lesser ones. If the people are coming to you that needs attention, you have to know who to prioritize.

If you are working with computers and working online, you will be trained a lot to be a multi-tasker since opening a lot of window tabs is already an easy task. Joggling with various websites is already part of the work system. You just have to watch your heartbeat when multi-tasking, you just feel under stress always.

Heartbroken Songs

Music is our friend especially when you are down and depress. Just like any masterpiece, many beautiful songs are written when the songwriter is at the lowest point of his/her life. Music has been the solace and the medium of expression of songwriters as well as listeners. Either they express it through writing, singing, or just listening. When they are alone, every word of the lyrics goes through the heart and speaks for their feeling.

Here are some breakup songs for people who are going through the situation:

Skycraper (Demi Lovato)
SPicture to Burn (Taylor Swift) Separate Lives (Phil Collins) Irreplaceable (Beyonce) I will Survive (Gloria Gaynor)

Dining Out Experience in Various Restaurants

Dining outside with the family can be costly especially if you will spend too for the food. But from time to time, dining out can be a breather for each member of the family. With all the work or activities in the school, or the grandparents who are always in the house can enjoy the ambience outside. Being able to see more people in a relax mood and not people who are in your work area or your business associates. How often do you dine out with family? Dining out with friends or with a friend is always a good experience. Talking under the sun and enjoying each other’s company which nurtures the friendship.

The well prepared food in a restaurant considering that you are also being served adds to your dining experience. Enjoying a different food aside from the usual food at home can be pleasurable.

Favorite Dessert Crepe

I am not really a cook but when it comes to dessert, I try to make one if my time permits.
I love crepes but it is quite expensive if you will order it from a restaurant. That is why a homemade crepe is preferred one and it is a great feeling when you have prepared for your family which they can enjoy after a full meal.

One Sunday, I tried to prepare fruit crepe. Here are the ingredients I included:

All-purpose flour
Banana
Apple
Cream
Chocolate syrup
Ice Cream
Cereal
Choco roll

I am happy while taking the photo of my crepe, but I was not able to take a shot when I already included the ice cream. Next time, I will try other variations.

The Movie “Enough” starring Jennifer Lopez and the Abused Women

The movie “Enough” starring Jennifer Lopez mirrors the life of a battered wife from the abusive husband. How the lead character, Slim, was able to survive from her abusive husband. Like many other couples, the movie started with happier times including the marriage rites, and later they had a child, Gracie. But soon enough, Slim discovered the real true colors of her husband. She was beaten physically and verbally by her husband, Mitch, played by Billy Campbell.

Many women are confronted with the same situation, a battered wife from an irresponsible husband. Nowadays, women are becoming independent and knows how to stand on their own. Just like Slim, women can fight back and find hope. If you are in a situation like this, be strong, get help from your family members, and some professionals that can help you.

Training Tips to New Hires

Hiring a new staff or employee in the office is always a risk whether the employee passed the hiring test and interview, you can only see if he/she is qualified when the training starts. Giving proper training and motivation are vital in keeping the employee grow or might lead to poor performance leading to low evaluation rate.

Here are some training tips in random order:

1. Inform and explain well the job description of the employee. Let the employee know list of regular job tasks and priority tasks.
2. Know the basic skills and capabilities of the employee, assign tasks that will test his/her abilities.
3. Give instructions clearly (write it down if necessary) and be open to any questions but with limitations. It is not acceptable that every minute the new employee will ask again and again. He/she would be able to grasp after once or twice that you have given the instruction.
4. Allow the employee to work on his own work system, if the system is not effective teach him/her alternative system that will speed up the process.

Lights on or off when Sleeping?

Sleeping is one of the needs of people, to be able to rest and regain our strength. Sleeping at night is important to me since I have a work during daytime I only have my night hours to rest. Since I was a kid, my family was used in sleeping with lights off. Maybe because to reduce the electrical bill. As I grew older, I still have the habit of sleeping with lights off with a dark room. A slightest light will affect my sleep.

I am working most of the time in front of the monitor either on a laptop or desktop at work, so my eyes are always exposed to glare. A dark room at night will help my eyes well rested.

How about you, which do you prefer?

Goodbye Neobux PTC Website

I have been with Neobux PTC website for atleast three years now and finally this year I am bidding goodbye to Neobux. I should have been done this last year but decided to extend it up to this year. Among the PTC websites I joined, Neobux is the most reliable. Another good thing about Neobux is when you click the payout button, your payment will be credited already to your PayPal account.

Neobux has been part of my online daily routine which I try to click almost everyday unless I am sick or there are family emergency situations. I also try to click advertisements during lunchbreaks if I have a chance so that I am already done for the day.

I never rented or invested money in Neobux, I am only a regular member but the earnings are quite slow. I stayed because it is easy to do everyday and it is proven to be legitimate. Then I realized that it is already eating too much of my time since the number of advertisements are increasing unlike before. Right now, I decided to devote my time in writing which gives me higher earnings.

Goodbye Neobux and thank you for the opportunity to earn that you gave me.

Problem with my Computer

I had a stressed day in the office when I started to use my computer, I found out that my computer is having a problem. It keeps on hanging and it didn’t start with windows. Months ago the computer had the same problem, maybe there is something wrong with one hardware inside the computer. I had to replaced the mouse then and it did well afterwards. I noticed that if I am not using my computer often a day or two, there will be a problem again. Maybe with the several USB storage that I am connecting with the USB drive.

I asked the IT department to fix my computer, but It will take a day to fix it since they also have other tasks in line. I hope they would already recommend to replace the unit so I can work well next time.

Ribs Steak Meal at Casa Verde Restaurant

I have been having food exploration whenever I have the opportunity to dine out and if my budget permits. Recently I had a ribs steak meal (Brian’s Ribs from their menu) at Casa Verde Restaurant at UP Town Center branch, Quezon City (Philippines). This was recommended by a friend who is a foodie reviewer. We were trying to plan where to dine out and finally we had our lunch at Casa Verde.

The meal was worth the recommendation, the price was very affordable for a 3-cut ribs, rice, and corn carrots side dish. I am not really a big eater so the serving of the restaurant was more than enough for me. What more interesting was the ribs were soft, delicious, and just had the right amount of cooking for me to enjoy every bite. The ribs steak meal is excellent with A1 sauce which makes the steak worth the part of a joyful conversation. A good starter we ordered before the main meal was a tortilla chips with chili sauce. I am looking forward for another visit to Casa Verde restaurant.

Do you think you can save money?

Money talks a lot and it is serves a different purpose to man. Some becomes greedy about it since money can do a lot to a persons life. It gives comfort and speaks for the status in life. For those who are trying to earn through employment and working as freelancers, earning a lot is a goal in order to support the family, to support a lifestyle, and so on. Income earners do try to save money, are you one of them? Or are you the type of person who spends money once earned?

Some people find it hard to save money, their usual reason is because their earnings is small and it is just enough for the expenses. Do you think if you are earning a huge money, you can save money? But sometimes as the income increases, expenses also increases. It is a decision to save money whether earnings is small or big. Likewise, savings can be either in a small or big amount of money .

How about you? can you still save?

Corn Tortilla Chips with Salsa

Dining out is one of the pleasurable activity we can have either with family or friends. It is when you try to relax and enjoy the food fully. I enjoy taking a food trip where eating on different restaurants or food stalls. Have the main meal in one place and move to another for the dessert. It is not

This week I overload with tortilla chips. I rarely eat chips as appetizer, but I had it when I dine out the other day. The corn tortilla chips served was just right to my taste buds, it was crunchy, not too oily, and the salsa was just great. Last night, my sister arrived with a bunch of tortilla chips on a medium size brown grocery bag with two types of dips. I am happy with it too, I indulge with the chips while watching a movie.

What is more Painful, Verbal or Physical Abuse?

A lot of women are confronted of abuse from their husband which causes separation. In rare cases, men becomes the victim of the abuse. There are many types of abuses, but the common one are physical abuse and verbal abuse. We know stories of physical abuses from marital broken relationships. Because men are typically physically capable, women are mostly victims of physical abuse.

There can be many forms of verbal abuse like insulting you in front of others, threatening words, blaming you for actions you did not do, controlling your actions, and other words to put you down. The abuser tries to control you to believe about these negative words.

A physical abuse can be very painful since you can really feel the pain. But a verbal abuse can have mental and emotional pains which are more lasting. How about you? what do you think is more painful, verbal or physical abuse?

Get help and go out of the dark situation where the abuser is actually at fault. Although things in life can be painful, there is always a healing process if we decide to get out of the situation and be happy.

Remember the movie "Enough" starring Jennifer Lopez?

Internet: Friend or Foe to People?

Being online and get connected in the Internet has become the way of life to people either for personal digital lifestyle or a venue for working online. The internet is as vast as the world where so many things happen, one can be lost, one can find a gold, one can learn so many things, one can be scammed, one can be addicted and so on. The Internet, a friend or foe?

There is no correct or wrong answer for the above question. It becomes a friend when you use the Internet for productive activities such as working online, connecting with friends and relatives, doing research works, learning from online tutorials and more. It becomes a foe, when it is not being used properly such as using the Internet to scam people, to start with social media unhealthy fights, to be lazy spending the whole time playing games in the Internet, online gambling, and more.

Let us make use of the Internet wisely.

Getting a New Mobile Phone

Getting a new mobile phone is an exciting experience for anyone. But will always go through a transition period where you back-up and transfer important messages, contacts, and other files . Although I do a lot of computer stuff, I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to mobile phones and do not have much time to learn about it. Now that I am having a new one, I literally check all the messages to see the important ones especially the contact numbers.

I just did a master reset of my old mobile phone for the new user. Although in a short period of time, I love using this Alcatel Glory 2, but just like any other changes in life we should always move forward, do not be attach to material things, and be excited with the new ones.

Melt your Heart with Frozen Movie

his is a late article for the movie “Frozen”, which by now just won several Oscar Awards. I am quite late in watching the movie, when almost everybody have already seen it.

Here are some lessons we can learn from the movie:
Love is sacrifice. “Some people are worth melting for” said Olaf the Snowman, a favorite quote from the movie which really means to sacrifice self for the good of other or someone.

To melt one’s frozen heart.

Be wise with love, you can be deceived.

Sometimes we look too far, not realizing that true love is already in front of us.

Love can come in unexpected time and place.

Differences in the family can be conquered, after all you are a family.

Any moviegoer can be mesmerized by the great animation effects, this is better to watch in big screen. The songs became so popular that I always saw it from news and YouTube, I was just happy to see the part “I want to build a snowman” and “Let it go” being sung by the characters.
Overall, for me Frozen is a heart warming movie for all ages. I watched it on a weekend so it was like a relief for the stress during the week.

Is your heart currently frozen? Is there something that holding on, anger, fear, something else? Maybe, let it go ….let it go….

Ways to Promote your Articles

Promoting articles is an essential activity to increase traffic and increase our income. It is not enough that we write and write but just like any other traditional business, marketing is important in the success of the business. Here are many ways to promote your articles:

  • Share your articles to your family and circle of friends through traditional invitation, online social media websites, and email.
  • Establish online network friends especially with other fellow writers.
  • Create a Facebook group related to your article topics.
  • Aside from Facebook, make use of other free social media websites such as Twitter, Google Plus, Tumbler, Linkedin, Stumbleupon, and many more. Evaluate each website which brings more traffic. The performing and non-performing websites so that your time will not be wasted.
  • Create a blog where you can create backlinks to your articles
  • Join forums which allows links to your articles

Writing the Same Topic for Articles

As writers we have accummulated hundreds of articles with various topics. Some even have it in thousands, I wonder if they are able to archive their articles well and be able to identify topics that are written already.

I sometimes noticed myself on this situation, I would realized that I have tackled the same topic from my previous submission to a different content writing website. Without the intention of doing so, It happens. Do you experience writing almost the same topic for your articles? Some writers intentionally do rewriting their previous articles for submission to other writing websites. Although this has been written on a different words or in a different mode of sentences, same topic could be written.

Maybe because ideas are already in our bank memory and already within the area of our interest for writing.
