Halo – Halo (mix – mix in English) is a favorite dessert and a fantastic quencher for summer. It consists of mixed fruits (banana, jackfruit, macapuno or silky coconut, sweet preserves (leche-flan, ube sweet dessert or purple yam), coconut gelatin, evaporated milk, and shaved ice. To make it more delicious, top it with one or two scoops of your favorite ice cream. Halo-halo is so popular which is commonly available in restaurants and nearby stores in most villages and towns of the country.
