Do you still believe in New Year’s Resolutions?

Do you still believe in New Year’s resolutions?  The year will end again and the discussion about New Year’s resolution is again a hot topic.  Some tend to stop writing it because they always break it easily.  A new year is another opportunity to live better and motivate ourselves to work on new plans.

As we evaluate what the year had brought us or what we did for the whole year will be a consideration in writing about our New Year’s resolutions.  Why do some people break  it? Here are some reasons:

  1. The resolutions are too many and it is hard to be consistent with all of them.
  2. The resolutions are not realistic.  Let us be specific with what we aim for so that we will be successful in our plans.
  3. We are not consistent and not firm with our resolutions.  We need more determination and focus if we want to follow our resolutions and become victorious over it.
  4. We easily give up and lose hope that is why it is easy to go back again or stop doing our resolutions.

Family Gathering for the Christmas Celebration

Christmas holiday celebrations can be tiring after all the preparations and get-together parties or gatherings with family and friends. This year, my family hosted the family gathering. We are busy preparing the house, games, giveaways, and gifts but inspite of that, it was worth it the gathering has been successful.

Although it took only three hours, it was the time where family bonding took place since everybody will be busy again with their own work and lives after the Holiday celebrations.

Our Christmas Eve was just a simple get together with pasta, ham, some desserts, and sparkling wine. After the midnight Christmas dinner, we had our exchange gifts.

I am happy with the gifts I gave and the gifts I received. We thank God for all the blessings we received this year and the life ahead.

House General Cleaning before the New Year Ends

General cleaning of the house is one of the activities I usually do before the year ends. There are days that I am off from work and this is the time that I fix things at home. I try to check those things that can be dispose already and can be use again. There are clothes that I sometimes keep for awhile then use it again for another time depending on the season or if I am not feel like wearing it at the present.

It is good to see the house in shape again or have it a new look so we welcome the New Year with a different perspective. This is also the time to check out some pondering about the year and be able evaluate life as a whole. I am not fond of writng New Year’s resolutions, but usually take down notes some plans for the next year.

Do you Prepare for New Year’s Resolutions?

As the year ends, there will still be New Year’s Resolutions again for some people. Others just got tired of writing their New Year’s Resolutions since they fail to achieve every year. Some New Year’s Resolutions list are not achieved because there are too many and unrealistic. It is easy to write down goals but it is difficult to achieve all of them. Others may opt to have atleast one or two realistic resolutions instead.

Resolutions may be in areas of personal and financial goals. Personal maybe learning a new skill, studying a new short course, and so on. Financial goals like not to overspend this coming year or be able to save an achievable amount at the end of next year.

How about you, do you still prepare for New Year’s Resolutions and how do you do it?

Shopping Time during Christmas

Only days left and Christmas Eve is already here. My shopping list was ready to be fulfilled, and I have the money to buy for the gifts already. I am happy to go out and do my agenda, but unfortunately I am not feeling well. In addition to that, the weather was quite hot outside and I am thinking if I will be able to withstand the crowded malls for those who are also doing their shopping rush. I am supposed to go to my friends house after, but I just decided not to go anymore.

I should be resting at home and reserve my energy for the rest for the coming days. Actually not resting at home, I managed to clean the room and wrapped some gifts that I already have. My gifts are not actually expensive, but I am happy with the personalized wrapping that I have been doing for several years. They are sealed with love and sincerity.

Talk about Independent Living

Living in an apartment, flat, or a condominium is one of the common among young professionals. Because of their income capacity to pay for rent or place and the luxury of having the freedom to do what they want, there is a bigger confidence to live independently. Living independently means doing everything on a daily basis relying on your own self for your needs. If you are planning to live independently, here are some thoughts to consider:

Be ready with your budget. Having to spend for all your needs will entail you a sum of money. If you are living alone, you will be able to allocate your funds well.

Time management is equally important since you will be doing your own chores such us buying your groceries, preparing your meals, cleaning the place, and more. Learn to manage time so that aside from your work, you will be able to organize things in your place.

Personalized Cards to Cut Cost this Christmas

Electronic cards has been the 21th century trend for giving occasion cards like birthdays,Christmas, thanksgiving and other occasions. But for those who still want to create something out of their love and effort, there is no better way to do it than make a personalized card. Since highschool, I usually create my own and give it to my friends. Aside from it is more meaningful to give personalized cards, this is cheaper than buying in the bookstore. My mom used to make these personalized cards and sell it to others so I started doing it at the very young age.

Some of the materials used are old magazines, cardboard, linen papers, colored bond papers, dried leaves, Craypass crayons or watercolor, colored pencils, glitters and more. These are not expensive materials which you can use to create a wonderful christmas and other cards for all occasions.

Have you tried creating your personalized cards?

Shopping Christmas Gifts at Nearby Stores

The holidays rush is already here and people are already busy with the Christmas season. For those who are busy on their work during these days, there is not enough time to buy your own Christmas gifts for the exchange gifts on the Christmas Eve. Yearly, when I do my Christmas list, I see to it that I will buy the gifts on one location and not far from my place. Imagine the travel time and the traffic you will take during the holiday rush before you can begin your shopping.

There are gifts that are also available in nearby stores. Some gifts can be also bought online. You just have to know how to buy it from legitimate merchants. I am just being practical, if you can buy it with a short span of time then why not.

What Happened to Triond Website?

Triond is familiar to freelance writers where many of them started with this website before multiple writing websites emerged. I am one of those started with Triond, this is where I started writing online with poems then later on manages to write articles (short articles then later longer ones). This is where I established connections with other writers and learned from them.

Because of the low earnings in Triond and became busy with other websites, I have not been active with it. The decline of the earnings caused others to stay away from Triond and find new exciting writing websites.

I hope that Triond would resurrect from the grave and redeem itself.

2. Part of the above are financial goals which is setting your achievable earnings goal and how much do I want to save for this year.
3. Personal goals which includes relationships, health, and any hobbies that I want to pursue.

How about you, how do you go about your goals this year?

Shopping for the Christmas Season

Shopping for the  Christmas season starts even before the month of December. The Black Friday and Cyber Monday after Thanksgiving Day are double shopping events that most shoppers are excited about.  From these two big  events, retailers and big merchants are full of their stocks expecting a large number of shoppers.  Starting with these events and up to the whole Christmas season, traditional and online stores are full of discount offers and other great deals.
So how do you schedule your Christmas shopping?  Some people  do their shopping months before the season.  If you are shopping in advance, items are cheaper and you will avoid the holiday rush.  Others still enjoy breaking into the crowd of shoppers for a shopping spree day.
If you are a budget shopper, plan your Christmas shopping by creating a list for gifts, decors you want for your house, the food for your celebrations, the costumes or clothes for your parties, and other Christmas celebration needs.  You can save money if you plan in advance.

Tips in Preparing for the Christmas Season

Christmas season is fast approaching and for moms who will be the busiest for the season preparing early will make a great deal for your holiday celebrations. Planning in advance and creating a shopping checklist would be the first step.
During Christmas season, the house is usually renovated or having a new look with Christmas decors. Do you have an old Christmas tree or you need to purchase a new one already? For the Christmas eve, you may check new holiday recipes that you have not tried from previous years. Try to browse recipes from online or existing cookbook.
When we talk about Christmas season, shopping is another big activity. Budget your Christmas expenditures. Start checking possible gifts by canvassing in advance. Write down ideas for each person and look gifts from online shopping stores. Check available discount coupons to save money.
Proper planning in advance can spare you from having too much during the Christmas season. This year 2020, will the pandemic Covid19 stop the Christmas celebration and Christmas shopping?  It maybe a different one for each family this year, but definitely, Christmas  will be celebrated and the spirit will always be in our hearts.

Christmas Gifts List Preparation

Christmas season is a time for gift giving, although we can give gifts any time of the year during Christmas is the most celebrated. Exchanging gifts of families, friends, workplace, organizations, business, and so on. Every year, I do my Christmas gift list for each member of the family, some
relatives, selected friends, and co-workers. Sometimes asking for what they want is a practical way of giving. Instead of buying the item and cashing out, they will be happy to have it as a gift from others. I only ask those who are close to me and will interpret it negatively. Knowing the interests of the person will help you give ideas for what to buy.

Your budget will also determine your gifts, you may know what they want but you have a limited budget to buy it. Gifts does not necessarily expensive and big, but the one who has a given a much thought will be most appreciated.
