The Magic of Sand Art

Sand art is the practice of modelling sand into an artistic form, such as a sand sculpture, sand painting, or sand bottles. The two basic building ingredients are sand and water.

Sand festivals or festivals of sand sculpture are exhibitions of sculptures made of sand carried out in various places around the world. These events usually include a competition.  Here are some festivals being held in some countries :

The event will run from June 6  to  August 29, 2010
Theme : “Head in Sand” with 20 Sand Artists from different countries such as Belgium, Bulgaria,Canada,Denmark,Ecuador,India, Netherlands,Russia,Syria, Ukraine, and USA.
