Venice Art and Festivals

Venice is not only beautiful with its architectural structures, but also offers a lot of art pieces and monuments. Some are seasonal and some are structures which exudes fantastic art. You can also found museums where great classic paintings are exhibited. Venice had been a home for artists way back in the middle ages, and up to the present artists from local and other countries flocked to the city to find inspiration. Festivals are also being held throughout the year. The Carnevale, is a traditional masked ball way back in the middle ages. These days, private masked and costumed parties are being held to emanate the event. 

If you are a tourist, do not forget to buy atleast one Venetian souvenir aside from the precious photos you have taken.

Buffet Restaurants around Metro Manila

Aside from the many restaurants around the metropolis, dining in a buffet eat-all-you-can restaurant is a different experience, be thrilled with the many choices of various cuisines from local to international cuisines. Here are some of the buffets I tried already:

Kamayan,Saisaki, Dads buffet - is an old buffet restaurant which I tried a couple of times either with friends or with family. They have a wide selection of Filipino, American, and Japanese foods. The food were great, but the ambience is not that great since the place is quite small when crowded. My personal ratings: 8.5 out of 10

Yakimix – a new buffet restaurant where you can have raw food from vegetable, meat, and poultry and cook it yourself. The ambience of the restaurant is good conducive for eating comfortably. Personal rating 8 out of 10

Somethin’ Fishy Buffet – they offer very affordable breakfast buffet that is why working people in the area especially those working in grave shifts have their breakfast here. I do not actually liked the breakfast buffet, it has limited selection especially with fruits (for a cheap price, do not expect a larger selection). Dinner is quite better with variety of food selections. Find it on Eastwood, Quezon City. Personal rating 7 out of 10

Midas Hotel buffet - I tried Midas Hotel buffet eat all you can when an online deal website offered a discounted rate. to pay. Since it is inside a hotel, the place is elegant and nice, but I find the selection quite limited compare to the high price you have to pay. The food were just average for a foodie.
Personal rating: 7 out of 10

There are other buffet restaurants that I want to try in my next food trip events like the Spiral buffet at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel. The rate is quite expensive so I think I have to save money for it.

What if you are not shortlisted after the Job Interview?

Job interview is one of the scariest experience for those who are fresh graduates and first-timers in having a job interview. An applicant can feel the nervousness before and during the interview, after passing the aptitude test and going through the process of the job interview? So, what now? Most companies will say they will just call you, but later never call you at all. It means you are not shortlisted. Feeling disappointed right?

For applicants who are trying to get a job, try to submit applications as much as you can so there is more possibility of being interviewed by more companies. If you have not become successful with the other one, you still have chances with others. One reason for not being shortlisted is the interviewer was not impressed with your answers or you did not passed the aptitude test. Another reason is that your qualification is not fit for their requirements. 

After every interview, evaluate yourself and improve more the next time you will have one until you finally land the desired job.

Romantic Venice, Italy favorite Film Location for Movies

Venice City is one of the visited travel spots in the world because of its beauty. It also became one of the favorite film location for the movies such as “Summertime” starring Katherine Hebpburn, “The Tourist” starting Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp, “The Italian Job” starring Mark Wahlberg, Edward Norton, Donald Sutherland, and Charlize Theron. 

The beauty of the city still draw filmmakers to shoot parts of their movies here. What makes Venice popular is undoubtedly still seen in gondola tour through canal cruise, alleyways, artistic exhibits, significant landmarks such as St. Mark’s Square. It is where people meets where coffee shops, museums are lined up. A great view of the Venice central place can also be seen from here.

Remember Perfect Strangers TV Show?

Perfect Strangers is an American television comedy sitcom aired between 1986 to 1993 from ABC television network which runs for eight seasons. This has been a family television show during that time aside from Mcgyver. Recently, I saw the old episodes from YouTube and I still laugh from the old jokes. The show also provides moral lessons to the viewers not just comic jokes.

Viber text chat message, voice, and video clips messages are the main features of Viber. I usually use each feature from time to time, but of course the frequent one is the chat messaging feature where I now use more than the Facebook messenger and Yahoo messenger.

One feature that I also like is the doodle feature where you can send some of your scribbles and drawings. You can select types of brushes which includes heart, lips,flower and more. If you are good in color combination, you can actually draw in your mobile. A background photo or a new photo can be included then add some text to complete your canvas. Easily share your doodle to any of your contact or to a group, viola you have a personalized greeting.
